Established in 2010, Visualiseringscenter C is a world-leading hub for visualization technology that operates as a collaborative consortium, uniting Linköping University’s advanced research branch (C-Research) with public exhibition management, municipal film facilities (Cnema), and the Norrköping Science Park. Guided by the concept of "exploranation," the center bridges the gap between global researchers and the public, hosting an immersive Wisdome dome theater alongside interactive laboratory environments designed to spark public curiosity in science and technology. By translating massive, multidimensional datasets into accessible visual narratives—ranging from subatomic particles to deep space astrophysics—the consortium ensures that academic scientific research drives direct civic impact, business development, and educational enrichment.
