Artificial Architect is an interactive installation that demonstrates the practical applications of generative AI in urban design and rapid prototyping. By utilizing the open-source Stable Diffusion deep learning model, the exhibit introduces visitors to the concept of guided image synthesis—a collaborative process where user-generated input alters visual outcomes in real time.
The exhibit features a touchscreen station where users provide a rough physical sketch alongside a descriptive text prompt. The AI model interprets these dual inputs to instantly transform simple line drawings into a wide array of visual styles, ranging from photorealistic architectural mockups to expressive oil paintings.
